LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your financial contribution of cash, stock or other property is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Gifts can be made in memory of a family member, loved one or friend, as well as in tribute to a person or an occasion.

In addition to our core mission of providing the highest quality blood components and services, LifeSouth Community Blood Centers has instituted several programs which depend on corporate and individual support to reach their fullest lifesaving potential. These special projects include LifeCord, our community cord blood bank, the Five Points of Life outreach programs and our signature special event, the Five Points of Kids Marathon.

LifeSouth is a charter member of the National Marrow Donor Program and, when funds are available, waives the fee for processing of blood samples for donor registration on the National Bone Marrow Registry. LifeSouth also performs research in the blood collection/transfusion field, commonly in partnership with a LifeSouth served hospital.
